OUR MISSION

To empower children with disabilities (CWDs) and actively pursue opportunities that improve their quality of life. GAHO is committed to eliminating barriers that hinder full social integration, access to inclusive education, and equitable health services. We work in collaboration with communities, families, and partners to ensure children with disabilities are supported, included, and protected.

Give a Hand Organization is focused to improving Living standards of Childeren with disabilities by integrating these programs

Livelihood

We hope to empower families of children with disabilities by equipping them with financial literacy and income-generating skills. Our training programs focus on hands-on techniques to improve self-reliance and long-term stability. This approach enables families to contribute meaningfully to their household and community development.

Health & Rehabilitation

We provide essential health services to children with disabilities, including support with health insurance. Our rehabilitation program includes physiotherapy and the provision of assistive devices tailored to individual needs. We also offer family counseling to promote mental wellness and strengthen family support systems.

Education Program

We advocate for the increased enrollment of children with disabilities into special and inclusive education programs. Our team assesses the learning needs of children and youth with difficulties to ensure proper placement in adapted and inclusive settings. We promote hands-on skills and inclusive activities that foster autonomy, using locally made teaching materials and encouraging sports, culture, and leisure.

Building Resilience: Trauma Healing Training Led by Lex from the UK

At Give a Hand Organization (GAHO), we believe that healing emotional wounds is just as important as physical support—especially for children and families affected by disability. Recently, we had the honor of hosting Lex, a trauma healing specialist from the UK.
